Eyelid & Forehead Lift Atlanta
Eyelid lift (or blepharoplasty) is the treatment for removing bags under the eyes and/or correction of drooping eyelids. Do you have the signs of premature aging, such as dark circles, sagging upper and lower eyelids? These aging eye conditions can make you look older and even impair your vision.
Blepharoplasty is a great procedure. When the excessive skin is removed, the eyes appear more youthful. It gives the patients a rested appearance. Your eyes appear “open”. You can see more of the eye itself. A browlift may be required to open the eye appearance if the brow is sagging.

Forehead / Brow Lift
A brow lift helps patients shed a “worried” look and to restore a refreshed look. (this procedure is also known as a forehead lift)
The Brow Lift Procedure
There are multiple techniques available including the use of endoscopy. Using any technique, the skin and muscles of the forehead are tightened through an incision in the hair- line producing smoother skin and more attractive eyes.
This procedure elevates the eyebrow reducing lines and wrinkles. I often recommend combining a brow lift with other procedures such as eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) and/or nose reshaping to provide total facial rejuvenation during one surgery.
Recovery After a Forehead/Brow Lift
My patients often find that recovery from a brow lift is quick and easy, but it does come with some bruising, slight swelling and mild discomfort.

Benefits of an Eyelid Lift
A blepharoplasty can make a dramatic difference by helping you have a relaxed and youthful look. Eyelid surgery (technically called blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat–usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes – features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision. However, it won’t remove crow’s feet or other wrinkles, eliminate dark circles under your eyes, or lift sagging eyebrows. While it can add an upper eyelid crease to Asian eyes, it will not erase evidence of your ethnic or racial heritage. Blepharoplasty can be done alone, or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or brow lift.
The Blepharoplasty Procedure
Eyelid surgery may be performed under local or general anesthesia. The procedure calls for a small incisions along the natural lines of your eyelids to minimize scarring. Generally, excess skin is removed from the upper and/or lower lids. Your surgeon may remove fat and tighten muscle to help you attain a fresher, more alert expression.
Recovery After an Eyelid Lift
Most patients are back to their normal routine within days, although complete recovery may take a few weeks. Swelling, bruising and some discomfort are part of the recovery process, and usually can be alleviated with cold compresses and appropriate medications.
Eyelid surgery risks and complications vary depending on the complexity of the specific operation.
